I am Free Because I am a Blogger…
I have now stepped into the blogoshpere.
That sounds pretty stupid for the first line of my first blog. I even hate that word: “blogosphere” It sounds like a word that was cooked up to be used in a 70’s Sci-Fi movie starring Charlton Heston.

So, enough about my hatred of the word Blogoshpere and my love for cheese. Let’s get to the point.
A few months ago I discovered a secret weapon; a complex equation that would spell “the opposite of doom” for me. I learned that a person could quit their job, and blog for a living! Could it be any easier? I think not. All I have to do is write a daily blog and then **poof** like some kind of bloggo-magic I get rich. Seems pretty simple.
Blog + Adsense = Early Retirement
I gave my notice at work and have chosen to become a full time blogger. As yesterday was my last day of employment…ever, I went out and celebrated last night with a bottle of Sailor Jerry’s Rum. I brought a couple of friends along so that I didn’t seem like a lonely alcoholic.
Adsense? For those of you that do not know what Adsense is I will give my brief (and deluded) perspective of Adsense. I place ads that are sponsored by Google on my blog and whenever someone visits the sites through the ads on my blog I get paid. It’s that simple.
Only time will tell if I become rich from this or if I will end up on the streets. Even if I do end up on the streets I could still blog from the public library.
The goal of this blog is to chronicle my adventures with Adsense and having no actual job and keep people updated as to whether I will get rich or go broke. I promise that I will become more entertaining as I gain more blogging experience.
.

So will I be a success or a failure please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts…

Interesting. So you’re jobless, eh? I’ll be checking back on this blog often. I’m interested to see how this turns out. I personally haven’t had any success with Adsense and have switched over to Adsdaq but, hey, whatever works out for you.
If you’re short on cash you should check out my blogs Frugal Living EXTREME! section. I’m sure you’ll learn a lot from it.

Well, I wish you look! This sounds like a hard challenge. But I would have recommended you built up at list a little bit of an archive before trying to promote your very first post! There isn’t much point for anybody to come back right now, because they don’t know what they’re going to be reading…
Have you researched ad placement? Because the first time I read this, I completely blocked out the ads and didn’t read the first line of your post, because I scanned it as unimportant.
Anyway… if you start being unable to afford clothes, send me an email and I’ll ship you a t-shirt from Fantastic Bonanza ( http://FantasticBonanza.com/ ).

Thanks for the positive encouragement guys!
As for the content, yes there is very little content right now as I just started the blog yesterday. As I have more life experiences with Google Adsense (and the drinking)I will continued with my story.
As for the negative comments that were left.. I have deleted you. Honestly, there are enough negative comments littered throughout the web. So please feel free to waste your time and leaving negative comments. I will enjoy deleting them.

What a great way to stay positive and proactive. Congrats on being free. I know it has been some time since you posted this. How is it going for you right now? Still pursuing the adsense road? Or have you moved on to better pastures instead?
