Living on Adsense Blog Stats 66 Days In

It seems that everyone (including myself) enjoy reading stats so that they can compare blogs stats.  I haven’t done this so far, but I am going to start.  I figure this will help me set goals plus give you as the reader something to compare against your blog.

Google Adsense Earnings to Date:  $75.17

There is a saying that says: “What gets measured gets done” I figure that if I track these stats they should improve.  What other stats would you like to see added to the list?

I guess you don’t have to add anything to these stats, since the other relevant info is on the sidebar. Bounce rate is too much to ask for, I think.

Anyway… have you already drunk today? haha :)

I have no problem sharing my bounce rate, it’s horrid though! Right now it is sitting at 84.66% which is pretty bad. I attribute this mostly to Entrecard, and to the old design that made people “cringe.”

I think this new layout and design will really help to improve the bounce rate, as it lends itself to much easier navigation, but we will see

Decent blog you have here and am enjoying reading through your posts, but was expecting to actually see more adsense ads over here, thought I could learn a thing or two about placement etc…

But I can only see 3 468*60 ads ….

Your $75 in adsense revenue is quite good for a young blog, but you would earn more if you took advantage of the limitations that Google set upon us AdSensers ;)

Unique visitors : 740
Google Adsense Earnings to Date: $75.17

Adsense / Uniques (how much each unique visitor brings in adsense revenue, on average) is, 10.15 cents. Not bad at all!

Adsense / Pages * 1000 = $75.17 / 1833 * 1000 = $41 ecpm. not. bad. at. all!

I think the unique visitors on the right is waaaaaaaaaaay off. ;)

Gil: Way off as in how? Too high too low?

The stats are not entirely accurate from day one. I installed that plugin some time last week, so those stats are only showing data from the date that I originally installed the plugin.

Chris,

I Like your blog.

I too was planning on living on Adsense Earnings not so long ago…

By September 2007 - my earnings had shot up past the $1000 per month barrier - and I was rubbing my hands in glee!

But then I must have been smart priced or something :-(

I only made $558 last month (Jan 2008) despite having a lot more visitors!

Go Figure…

Things happen like this though Jordan, that’s why I opt for CPM banners in favour of adsense nowdays, although on my biggest blog (www.kop-tv.com) I do use both as my pageviews are relatively high ;)

hi there!
I hope it is not too much to ask for, but out of curiousity, how long is the average stay per visitor?

I am glad to see you make money on adsense, would have thought that visitors had become blind to them by now, especially since the ones that come in here, now about adsense…

Good luck!
